Though there is no private parking for this apartment, if you need a car there is public parking within about 2 minutes away, either at the port or the Festival Palace. Short-term street parking can be found within 100 meters of the apartment. Renovated in 2006, this apartment includes a living room with a comfortable sofa bed (suitable for one adult), a satellite TV (European channels), a table for four, and glass doors that open onto a balcony with views. There is also an open-plan kitchen in one corner, fully equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, toaster, and coffee machine. There are two bedrooms: the first has a 160 cm queen-size bed, while the second bedroom has two 90 cm single beds that can be combined upon request. Area Description

This apartment enjoys an excellent location in the center of the south France city of Cannes, one block from the port. It is about two minutes' walking distance from the beach, the Palace of Festivals, and La Croisette. Restaurants are located right outside the front door (in fact, there is one on the ground floor of the building), along with a market, shops, and a taxi station. This apartment is 100 meters from the train station. Cannes, of course, is famed for its annual film festival, but with its location on the French Riviera it has much more to offer than that! It is beloved for its gorgeous sandy beaches as well as a dedication to the arts. The city is also easy to reach, as it sits directly on the main rail line from Italy to Marseille and is served by the TGV, France's high-speed train. Shuttles to the international airport in Nice run every half hour during the day. Other places in the area to visit include, of course Monte Carlo, Nice, and St. Tropez, but there are also some other smaller places that are worth a stop. Antibes was briefly the home of Napoleon and his family, and here you will find a naval museum as well as the star-shaped Fort Carre and a Provencal market. Grasse is well known as the perfume capital of the world, while St. Paul is both a picturesque hill town and the location of Fondation Maeght, the famed modern art museum.
