How do I open my account?
Sign up for an account, and proceed to log in when your registration is complete.
On your account home page, click to activate your owners account. This option is displayed to the far right of your account menu.

So where do I give details of my property – pictures, availability, etc?
Log in to your account, and browse to the Owners home using the menu displayed at the top of the page to the right of the SSH logo.
Select My Properties from the menu, then click add a new property.
Complete the form which is displayed, entering details such as your property name, the location of your property, a brief description, etc. When you’re happy with the details you have entered, select the save button displayed at the bottom of the page.
Once the property has saved, you will be asked to upload images of your property.
If you browse back to the My Properties page, you will see your property listed, adjacent to which are options to update the availability of your property, to create property seasons/price bands, etc.

How do I get paid?
When you signed up you will have agreed to a method of payment.
You will either have agreed to pay a flat fee to advertise on the SSH website and then you will have selected the method by which SSH will remit funds to you. This will normally be by transfer to your bank in your chosen currency. If you have the facility to take payments by credit card then you can arrange to do this without the involvement of SSH.
We offer the facility to take payment by credit card from your prospective tenant, then we pay over the rental due to you less an agreed discount for the use of this facility and our costs of advertising your property.
We have established from past experience that payments must be taken by credit card as this reduces the risk of fraud.

What are the questions I should ask?
Am I allowed to let the property for short-terms?
Am I able to let prospective tenants into my property at the appointed time?
Have all valuable possessions been removed from harms way? It is wise to keep one lockable room/closet with your own possessions away
from tenants.
Can any damage be insured? Have you asked your current household insurance to cover short stay tenants? Or are you prepared to carry the
risk yourself?
If you have any questions, please call us on 001 441 292 2670 – we’ll be more than happy to help.
